Local Filmmakers at the Wisconsin Film Festival
The Badger Herald (online), April 1st, 2011
The problem with “covering” the film fest is that, by the time you get a report on the films to your audience, many of the films will disappear.

The Badger Herald (online), February 17th, 2011
I was offered a job as the Herald’s Multimedia Editor in late January 2011. A month later, tens of thousands of protestors stormed Wisconsin’s Capitol, while 14 democratic state senators fled to Illinois.

Scott Walker Republican Primary Victory Party
The Badger Herald (online), September 15th, 2010
Months before the aforementioned protests, I was trying to get a job as the Herald’s Associate Multimedia Editor.

Drug Overdose Report
University of Wisconsin – Madison, October, 2011
This report on a recent drug arrest in Madison was based on an actual police press release. The video, however, was part of a mock-up for broadcast training under University of Wisconsin – Madison lecturer and WisconsinEye senior producer Steven Walters (that’s his voice in the background).
